Pasta with Gyros – Creamy Greek-Inspired Pasta Recipe
Tagliatelle pasta with gyros is a rich, comforting pasta dish that combines tender gyros meat with a creamy sauce that clings perfectly to wide pasta ribbons. This recipe is ideal for an easy dinner and pairs beautifully with Greek salad on the side.
Ingredients for 4 People:
- 400 g tagliatelle pasta
- 500 g gyros meat (pork or chicken)
- 1 tbsp Pelops extra virgin olive oil
- 1 small red onion, thinly sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
- 200 ml cooking cream or Greek yogurt
- 100 g feta cheese, crumbled
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- Salt and black pepper, to taste

In the same pan, add the red onion and cook until soft. Add the garlic and sauté briefly until fragrant. Pour in the cream and let it simmer gently for 2–3 minutes. Season with salt, black pepper, and dried oregano.
Add the cooked tagliatelle to the sauce along with a small splash of pasta water if needed to loosen the sauce. Return the gyros meat to the pan and toss gently until everything is well coated. Finish by folding in the crumbled feta just before serving.
