Refund policy

This Return and Refund Policy applies to all purchases made through our website.

1. Returns

You may request a return within 30 calendar days of receiving your order.

To be eligible for a return:

• The item must be unused, unopened, and in its original, undamaged packaging.
• You must provide a receipt or other valid proof of purchase.
• The item must be in resalable condition.

Important: 

Due to the nature of the product (food item), returns are only accepted under the following conditions:

-The product must be unopened and in its original, sealed packaging.

-Returns are only accepted after prior contact and approval via email.

-You must provide a receipt or other valid proof of purchase.

-The item must be in resalable condition.

-We do not accept “cash on delivery” (COD) return shipments — such packages will be refused and returned to the sender.

-If a return is sent to us using COD, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund, provided the product meets return conditions.

-All return shipments must be sent at the customer’s expense to the return address provided after approval, and must arrive in undamaged, original condition.

 

Return Request Process

To initiate a return, you must contact us at: info@pelopsgreekgoods.com, provide us with reason why you want to return and also pictures of the product in case of damage.

If your return is authorized, you can send the product to adress. (we don't provide return labels so you have to cover the cost yourself)

We reserve the right to refuse returns sent without prior authorization or returns that do not meet the above conditions. 

2. Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items

If you receive a defective, damaged, or incorrect item, you must notify us within 7 calendar days of delivery. Please email us at info@pelopsgreekgoods.com with:

• Your order number
• A description of the issue
• Clear photographic evidence

We will offer a replacement or a refund, as appropriate, at no cost to you.

3. Non-Returnable Items

The following items are strictly non-returnable:

• Opened or used food items, including olive oil
• Sale or discounted items
• Gift cards or vouchers

4. Exchanges

We do not process exchanges. If you wish to replace a product, please return the original item (if eligible) and place a new order.

5. European Union – 14-Day Right of Withdrawal

If your order is delivered to a country in the European Union, you have the right to cancel your purchase within 14 calendar days, without giving any reason, under the EU Consumer Rights Directive.

To exercise this right:

• You must notify us in writing within 14 days of delivery
• Items must be returned unopened, unused, and in their original packaging

We will reimburse all payments received from you, including standard delivery charges (if applicable), within 14 days of receiving the returned goods, provided they meet our return criteria.

You are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item was faulty or incorrect.

6. Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If approved, your refund will be issued to your original payment method within 10 business days.

Please note:

• Refund timing may vary depending on your bank or card issuer.
• We do not refund expedited or premium shipping costs unless the return is due to our error.

7. Limitation of Liability

Pelops Greek Goods shall not be held liable for any loss, damage, or deterioration of returned items due to improper packaging, delays caused by courier services, or items lost in transit.

It is your responsibility to ensure the item is securely packaged and returned using the label and method provided.
